Okay, I been attempting to make this sort of a music blog with mixing my views of christianity into it. Sometimes they may be what my pastor has been speaking about. Other times, it is just something that comes to mind. I am not saying my views are right or wrong, because they are my views.

As a bass player, I am always looking for ways to incorporate different playing styles into the worship music that I play for church. I don't believe God gave me a gift to play an instrument to just sit and play boring notes. But to play music and enhance it. I am told I can even get carried away with what I play, in which I do. Playing for our God, is a privilege and an honor to do. I love playing, not because I am in front of people, but because I am playing. I think that is why I learned the bass guitar while I was still in high school. It presented me another opportunity to play. By my senior year in high school, when I was playing first Trombone, I didn't care if I was playing first or second. I just wanted to play. I wanted to sound to be joyful to a listener's ears. If I succeeded great, if not, then let me make my corrections so that it will be.

When David came marching home with the Ark of the Covenant, he didn't care what he looked like, he was praising God, with all of his heart, mind, and strength. It was a joyous time for them. Now when we go to church, I have to ask my self, am I praising God with all of my heart, mind and strength? And when I am playing, I ask myself, am I praising God with all of my heart, mind and strength? God does care how you praise Him, and how you worship Him. He created you. He knew you before you were born.

At this time, I am going to school online. I am currently in an English Composition class, in which we are going through the writing process. I am hoping that blogging will help me with this class. God too, want to put you through a process. He does everyday, with everyone; those who believe, and those who don't. But everyone goes through a process that God has set, that process is His Love. We choose whether to accept it or deny it everyday. If you have accepted your gifts as being a part of you, won't you accept the Love of God as another gift?
